What the DP-100 test actually covered.
DP-100 is a wired desktop USB-A fingerprint reader intended for Windows Hello sign-in on compatible Windows 10 and Windows 11 computers. One DP-100 sample completed fingerprint enrollment and sign-in checks on Windows 10 Pro build 19045, including reconnection, restart, S3 sleep/resume and two native USB-A ports.
The test computer already contained the matching ChipSailing driver package, so this result does not establish clean first-install behavior. DP-100 requires a native USB-A port. It does not support macOS, Linux, Windows 7/8/8.1, FIDO2 or Passkeys. No Microsoft product certification or universal compatibility is claimed.
